Once children reach Year 7 and 8, setting for subjects is common. Senior pupils also benefit from bespoke preparation for senior school with extra scholarship sessions. Our unique Adventure, Leadership and Service programme prepares them for the step up to senior school, teaching core skills such as resilience, problem-solving, and orienteering, as well as personal development.
Performing Arts
Annual school dramatic productions give the children an opportunity to showcase their acting, singing and dancing skills. Performances are always packed full of energy and enthusiasm, and enjoyed by parents, pupils and staff alike.
In Nursery and Pre-Prep children take part in the Christmas nativity play, while Year 3 present ‘Carols around the Fireside’. The annual Year 4 production takes place during summer term, with past performances including The Selfish Giant and The Jungle Book. Year 5 pupils work on a poetry themed production, and during spring term Year 6 and Years 7 and 8 offer up their own performances.
